When it comes to brunch, San Francisco really delivers. There are plenty of options all over the city and many offer dog-friendly seating outdoors. If you’re in the city looking for a dog-friendly brunch, we’ve rounded up our favorite spots—and they all have four to five-star ratings on Yelp. As always, aim for off-peak-hours, because large crowds can stress out your dog. Finally, always keep your dog leashed unless given permission to unleash them.

Devil’s Teeth Baking Company 3876 Noriega Street, San Francisco, CA 94122

From cinnamon buns as big as your head to one of the best breakfast sandwiches you’ll probably ever eat, Devil’s Teeth Baking Company delivers delicious breakfast comfort food. While it’s a bit tight inside when it comes to seating space, there is dog-friendly outdoor seating. Best of all, they also offer free homemade dog treats! Devil’s Teeth can get pretty busy on the weekends, so visit during the weekday to avoid crowds.

Surisan 505 Beach St, San Francisco, CA 94133

Surisan is located in Fisherman’s Wharf and is walking distance from Pier 39. Serving both American and Korean style dishes, customer favorites include Korean fried chicken, blueberry stuffed french toast, and a selection of eggs Benedict. Enjoy a dog-friendly brunch in Surisan’s spacious outdoor seating—they even supply heat lamps and blankets for breezier days.

Eight Am 1323 Columbus Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94133

If you love crepes, frittatas, or a good avocado toast, Eight AM is the perfect spot to visit. They use high-quality ingredients with fresh flavors, making for a satisfying brunch. Eight AM’s space is on the smaller side, but their dog-friendly patio is perfect on a quiet Sunday or weekday.

Novy Restaurant 4000 24th St, San Francisco, CA 94114

NoVY Restaurant offers a selection of brunch classics, such as eggs Benedict and omelets, as well as a variety of Mediterranean dishes, like lamb gyros and panos burgers. This is the perfect place to do some people-watching while you enjoy your meal outside on their dog-friendly outdoor patio.

Sweet Maple 2101 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94115

Sweet Maple is a homey brunch place that serves American classics with a dash of Asian influence. It’s so well regarded that the weekend wait can be up to an hour. To avoid the long lines, visit on a late weekday morning. The trip is worthwhile just for their famous Millionaire’s Bacon. Enjoy dog-friendly seating outside where the staff can provide water and the occasional treat for your pup.

Kitchen Story 3499 16th Street, San Francisco, CA 94114

Kitchen Story serves Asian fusion dishes for brunch and dinner. The weekend wait can be long, so avoid the lines by arriving right when the restaurant opens its doors. Kitchen Story’s food is as aesthetically pleasing as it is tasty, meaning you can Instagram your dog-friendly brunch for all to see. Fun fact, Kitchen Story is owned by the same team that owns Sweet Maple.
