Doubling Down on Our Mission to Revolutionize Pet Health

It’s a big day here at Fuzzy. Since our founding in 2015, it’s been our mission to make veterinary care accessible and affordable to all. 

Over the last six years, we’ve expanded our services to include 24/7 access to veterinarians via live chat and video, created an e-commerce marketplace for vet-curated items, and built a host of educational content and programs for nutrition, training, and obedience to help pet parents provide the best care for their pets. 

Today we’re excited to announce that we’ve raised additional funding to the tune of $44 million dollars, all to further invest in that mission. Now, what will that look like?

Fuzzy of the Future

Our number one priority is to make it easier to provide pets with the best care possible, anytime and anywhere.

We believe that quality care begins with veterinarians. We will continue to grow and support our veterinary team, providing more experts who are available via live chat and video. We’re expanding our clinic program too, in which we’ll connect with veterinarians to deploy telemedicine at their practices with the goal of allowing more flexibility with patient treatment and increasing the availability of in-person appointments for urgent needs. 

We’ll continue to expand our e-commerce offerings, creating new products such as curated puppy and kitten bundles for new parents and adding a host of new vet-recommended products. 

Additionally, we’re rolling out a refreshed Fuzzy Academy with even more content for pet parents to access information about their animal’s wellness, including tips and advice, as well as personalized courses for training and pet health.

And finally, we’re updating our Pet Insurance Program to better plan for and alleviate the costs for in-person procedures.

Looking Ahead Together 

A lot has changed in the years since Fuzzy was founded. Like so many of you, we’re working from home, traveling less, and rethinking how we give ourselves and our pets the best life possible. Part of that is reimagining care and wellness for our cats and dogs, beginning with welcoming a new pet into your home. 

In the new year, we’ll partner with shelters and animal rescue organizations to connect new pet parents with the tools and resources they need to provide the best care on day one, from proactive measures to urgent health needs.
