Fluoxetine Oral Suspension for Dogs and Cats is used to treat anxiety and behavior problems including obsessive compulsive behavior in dogs and cats. 

Many liquid medications contain Xylitol, an artificial sweetener also known as Birch Sugar, which is toxic for dogs and cats and can be fatal. If you are giving your pet a liquid medication, please confirm it does not contain Xylitol.

Dosing is based on your pets unique weight. We recommend confirming your pets weight and using our dosing chart to determine the correct strength and quantity your pet needs. 

A $5 Medical Review fee will be applied to your request on a per pet basis. This fee covers the cost of our licensed Veterinary team to reviews your pet's medical history and details to ensure the medication you requested is appropriate. We'll notify you within 12 hours with the results. This virtual exam process saves a Fuzzy member more than $100 per medication compared to in-person vet visits, and hours in the waiting room.

5 - 8lb cats can have 0.25mL of 10mg/mL Fluoxetine by mouth every evening for 30 to 60 days to help with stress and anxiety. 10mL is a 30 day supply.

9 - 16lb cats can have 0.5mL of 10mg/mL Fluoxetine every evening for 30 to 60 days to help with stress and anxiety. 15mL is a 30 day supply.

17 - 25lb cats can have one 1mL of 10mg/mL Fluoxetine every evening for 30 to 60 days to help with stress and anxiety. 30mL is a 30 day supply.
